How we protect you, from posting to completion
Everything you agree on is written down in one place. If something goes wrong, you have proof and someone to tell.
What the platform does for you
Your address, protected
In public, only your neighbourhood shows. The professional gets the exact address when you confirm a visit or the job, and always with your permission.
Everything in writing
Price, payment and cancellation terms, approved changes and the invoice. An issued invoice can't be edited: if something changes, it's corrected with a credit note.
Start code
When your job uses one, the professional asks you for a 6-digit code on arrival. That way you know who came in and when the work started.
Photos of the result
The job closes with photos and stays in your history, in case you need them for insurance or a warranty.
Messages in one thread
Each job has its own conversation, with the photos and documents. No need to give out your phone number.
Block someone
If you don't want to hear from a professional again, block them and they can no longer message you or send you quotes.
If something goes wrong
- Talk to the professional first in the job's thread. Many things get sorted there, and it stays in writing.
- If it isn't sorted, report it from the job with “Report a problem”. Attach photos if you have them.
- Someone on our team reviews it with everything on record and writes to both sides.
An emergency or a risk to your safety? Call emergency services first.
Warning signs
- You're asked to pay something other than what was agreed, without a change being sent through the platform.
- You're asked for your card details or a password by message.
- You're pressured to accept “today” or to move the conversation off ISOQuotes.
- The profile doesn't match the person who turns up at your home.
If you see one, report it. You don't need to be sure: we'll look into it.
